Blogger Challenge Week 4

WEEK 4 - MINI MILESTONE WEEK

It’s mini milestone week! Do you have milestone? Tell is what you’re getting up to.

Reassessment of Goals


1 Month Goals: End of June 2012
1. Be at a stable goal weight. I don’t want to be fluctuating from week to week.
2. Be consistently training a minimum of 3 days per week.
3. Eating totally clean during the week.
4. Cut down coffee, especially at work. Maximum of 1 a day!

02/07/2012 - Reassessment of Goals
1. I have been maintaining my goal weight (+/- 1-2kg) since the May, so I’m very happy with that.
2. FAIL. No actual “scheduled” training since the end of round 1!!
3. FAIL. Old habits reappearing…having a biscuit or two with my tea, eating out of boredom, eating because I’m cold….too many excuses creeping back in.
4. Generally doing pretty good.

So it’s currently week 2 of my upper respiratory tract infection, and I’m feeling much better than last week. Last day on antibiotics today and fingers crossed my chest will start to clear up soon. Little man has also been sick, so we’ve both been taking it easy for the last week and a half.

During this time, hubby put together our new elliptical cross trainer, my polar heart rate monitor arrived in the mail, I bought Mish’s exercise DVDs and I ordered new joggers from the US. Definitely no excuses when it comes to exercise gear!! So once I’m 100% I’ll be good to go.


To achieve the goals above I need to step up my discipline and my organisation skills. Since reaching my goal weight I’ve started to get complacent with my nutrition and fitness, not to mention the spiritual component of my life. Sometimes you switch on autopilot and then forget all about it. You don’t even realise where you’re going anymore, you just know you’re going “somewhere”. It’s definitely time to sit down with my pen, notebook & calendar and organise & diarise! What do I want and how will I get there?
