·    Feeling sore today after last night’s workout – but it’s a “good” sore!
 
·    Feeling a bit deflated with some general “stuff” that’s going on, but found that when I was training last night, I completely forgot all about it – such a good feeling.
·    Way too tired to train tonight and Hubby got home late. Too much to fit in    during the evenings!!
 
 

Extras

·     Didn’t do my 30 push ups last night – looks like it’s on tonight!
·     Need to still do my sit and reach as part of my fitness test.

I've decided to keep a daily diary for Round 3, to track my nutrition, fitness and other bits & pieces that I experience during this round!

  • Trying to make a conscious effort to drink more water
  • Loved today’s lunch and so did Hubby!
  • Hubby cooked dinner tonight – we opted for steak with mushroom sauce for dinner instead of the fish stew (not a big fish fan!)

Took a walk around the block after buying my morning coffee, rather than heading straight up to the office

 

Quick walk during my lunch break – 2.03km / 15:36min / 61cals

Had to go to the pharmacy at lunchtime, so I decided to take a longer route back to the office and also take the stairs instead of the lift

Every morning I’ve been eagerly checking my emails, in anticipation for more news from Michelle Bridges and the 12WBT crew. And then this morning, this came through:




 
 

Round 3 Finale is in Sydney!!

Whoop! Whoop! Super excited!!

I’ll actually be able to go to my very first finale – yay!

Even more pumped to get stuck into Round 3 now!!

Preparing for Round 3

Preparing for Round 3!!


6 days til Round 3 starts!! So here’s where I’m at…

I’m still in the process of completing my preseason tasks, with the aim to complete them all by Saturday. They’re almost done, but I just want to take a final read through and see if there’s anything extra that I can add.
 
I’ve set up a manilla folder that will house all of my Round 3 documentation:
  • Preseason tasks 
  • Monthly calendars
  • Weekly planners
  • Weekly meals calorie tracker
  • WeightTracker (this is an excel spread sheet I will update each week and use to track/plot my progress)
  • Fitness Tracker (this is an excel spread sheet I will update each week and use to track/plot my progress)


 
I’ve bought a set of pretty pink folders to neatly display my weekly meal and fitness plans, which is something that I’ve failed to do previously. (I still have bits & pieces from Round 1 that are yet to be filed away properly!)

I’ve looked through the latest Big W catalogue to see what gear (including One Active gear) I need/want to purchase before the round commences. Still need to purchase some heavier dumbbells and a fitball – this is to make sure that I have all the equipment to complete the Lean and Strong Program at home.

 
 

 
So now I’m just patiently waiting for the weekend to arrive so that I can take my “before” photos and complete my fitness test. I won’t lie, I am very nervous about what lies ahead, but I’m also super excited!!
