Better than Nothing

Something is Better than Nothing

Last night I walked through the front door at 7pm.

My work day starts at 5:30am, and by 6:30am we are out the door.

Generally I don’t train on the days that I work.

My day is long. I’m tired. I have an 18 month old to see to & a hubby who works crazy hours.

Excuses? Well, no. I don’t think so. I’m just being real.

Now add lupus to the mix and you have reality – my reality.

But last night I actually trained. It was only 15 minutes, but I trained.

Hubby got home not long after me & so I quickly jumped at the chance to train.
10 minutes on the x-trainer followed by a quick abdominal workout.
“Something is better than nothing” Right?

So where did this burst of enthusiasm come from??

Stop & rewind to Monday lunchtime: Sitting at my desk eating my turkey, cheese, cranberry & baby spinach wrap and reading an article on movenourishbelive.com - 5 Quick and Simple Tips to help you work out Wherever Whenever.

The first 2 tips did it for me:

1.       Ditch the all or nothing rule

2.       Schedule it

So I printed out a weekly planner and started to populate it with nutrition and training notes for my Week 11. I also found a few quick and easy work-outs to incorporate into my planner. If I have the opportunity, I will train. I will do something.
